Your Rubber Stamp Place

I love teaching for so many reasons.  One of them is that I end up learning so much as I prepare for my classes while I do research in preparation.  During that "research journey", I have discovered the wonderful websites that I am listing for you below.  I have included some comments below with each one to give you some insight as to what you are about to see.

What do you do when you need just the right words to put the finishing touches on that card you just completed?  Where do you go when you want the perfect words for your scrapbook page that conveys just the right feeling?  Through my internet travels, I have gathered up some great sites that will help you in these areas;

Teabag Folding

This first site really floored me when I visited.  It is the site I use to
print most of the beautiful papers I use in my own teabag folding.  There are literally hundreds of sheets of beautiful paper that you can print yourself in three block sizes absolutely free!  Rosemarie even offers the circle template (she calls it a sticking template) divided into eighths that you place underneath to help you glue down your wedges perfectly straight.  Be sure to sign Rosemarie's guest book and let her know how much you enjoy her site.  She asks nothing in return, but I emailed her direct to thank her for all she has done for those of us who cannot get enough of teabag folding.  I made her a batch of wallpaper envelopes and mailed them to her in England just to let her know how much I personally appreciate her site which I think is a goldmine!
Here you go:  http://members.fortunecity.com/zrosemarie1/index.html

This site has great squares with vivid colors: http://www.geocities.com/teabagtiles/

This site has a book with clear, precise diagrams with lots of additional folds for you to try.  You can page through it on your computer and/or print it out for reference.  It is one of the best I have seen for having so much
on so few pages:  http://www.multi-craft.co.uk/richard_book/pg1.html

Here is another good website that will really get your creative juices flowing.  Now, this site takes a totally different look at teabag folding as it uses other shapes instead of squares.  The patterns are all there for you with full sizes for you to print.  Just click on each individual page and it will enlarge.  If you see
a little square show up in the lower right hand corner, click on that because it means that you can make it bigger for an even bigger view.   After you learn the folds on plain paper, you can apply the concepts learned on this site to any paper you may have at home.   Here is the site:  http://www.crs.co.nz/lilystubbs/Lily%20Stubbs%20diagrams.htm

This site has some quilt squares that would be cool to use for Teabag Folding.  Don't forget to check out the additional links at the bottom of this page for even more fun:  http://home.earthlink.net/~bahome1/
